What to expect…
During your first reflexology appointment I will take your full medical, diet and lifestyle history. I will also find out how you would like reflexology to benefit you enabling me to create a treatment that focuses on the necessary points to suit you personally. You will also be asked to sign a consent form of which all personal details will be kept completely confidential. I will then explain the session and answer any further questions you may have.
It is then time to sit back in the comfortable lafuma chair and begin your deep relaxation. Try to let go the stresses of the day, allow your busy mind to quieten and allow the beauty of reflexology to do it’s job.
I recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Socks and shoes will need to be removed for foot reflexology.

Whilst you should notice a sense of well-being and relaxation after your treatment, you may feel a little lethargic and possibly even a little emotional. This is known as the “healing reaction” caused by the release of toxins during treatment. To get the full benefits of any treatment, it is recommended to rest well afterwards and drink plenty of fluids.
